MassBit Route Testnet Update
MassBit Team sincerely thanks the community for supporting the project, especially those who participated in the Testnet for the MassBit Route product. During the Testnet, we have received tons of valuable feedback from the community, through which we have made significant improvements.
Notable upcoming news:
- Mar 11: Onboard more Nodes and Gateways for Testnet’s Whitelist. We will prioritize those who are active in the community. Link
- Mar 25: Officially closing MassBit Route Testnet.

When we first started testing with Nodes/Gateways, we had some minor issues installing scripts and fixed them soon after. Once the Nodes/Gateways completed the setup, our dev team also started testing and, in turn, added the Nodes/Gateways into the system to test the capabilities and find the system errors. Overall, the data passing through the system has been stable.
Because of the nature of the Testnet, the participants are mostly Nodes and Gateways. They are the ones who directly test and operate the system and communicate and give feedback to the MassBit Team. As for dAPI, we will try to increase this number in the future.
New features update
During Testnet, we also added some new features to MassBit Route.
- Added debug tool for troubleshooting in Community Nodes and Community Gateways.
- Updated install script for community nodes and community gateways.
- Added verification service for verifying node/gateway in the registration phase.
- Updated portal to improve the flow of node and gateway registration.
- Started to implement verification protocol.
Increase Testnet whitelist
We will onboard more Nodes/Gateways to increase the number of Testnet participants. The order of priority will be from active members in the community and those on the list of registered participants who have not yet been selected. Please check your email at the same time as we will announce on March 11.

About MassBit Route Testnet
MassBit Route (MBR) is a decentralized blockchain distribution network (BDN). MBR is empowered by MassBit Verification Protocol — a decentralized proof of stake system that ensures all workers execute their tasks correctly while also checking on each other’s work to verify that everyone is acting properly. MBR offers a quick, stable and reliable service, all at a fraction of the cost of centralized networks. Running MBR is also open to everyone — meaning that the ability to stake and receive rewards for completed work is available to companies or individuals looking to join.
MassBit provides fully decentralized solutions for Defi and Web3 App project development. Currently with 3 products in the stage of development, MassBit enables DeFi and Web3 App development to be faster, stable, scalable, and more cost-effective.
The powerful ‘glue’ holding together and supporting all the products is the MassBit Verification Protocol, which is based on proof of stake. The protocol incentivizes those working within the system to verify each other’s work. The verification of other nodes, gateways, or indexers gives rewards or penalties for the mistakes to each individual or entity. From that, the protocol ensures the whole network’s health.
