AMA Recap
MassBit held an AMA section in the community with the aim to resolve community questions and engage with the community. The recap is shown below.
Q1. Will there be an MBR testnet in the future?
→ MassBit Testnet is still available at the moment. We have recently finished a major upgrade and now the network is available to deploy your new node/gateway using the new codebase. The new instructions are updated on the MassBit Gitbook.
Q2. What is the next big move to bring more users and engage with them?
→ We will create more events and activities in the community while continually developing the product as we approach Mainnet.
Q3. What is still curious is how the implementation is for the entire chain, which is where MasBit vision becomes a decentralized API which is needed by all projects?
→ Massbit is built on a substrate framework which gives us a lot of support to grow in the future by becoming a para chain on the Polkadot network or building our own layer 1. For more technical details of massbit chain and tokenomics, we will discuss it in a later AMA.
Q4. When IDO?
→ We don’t have an IDO plan yet, as the market is still in a bear cycle, we think the best thing to do right now is focus on building the best quality product possible.
Q5. How MassBit will help with hacks, phishing, and other pertinent concerns is one of my main worries. Will it soon incorporate any solutions for new or upcoming projects?
→ In the MassBit network, the more nodes/gateway we have, the more stable and secure it becomes. Our devs are working on a different solution, such as SDK and optimizing dapi. We are going to have more partnerships in a few more weeks.
Q6. Is the dAPI free or pay with $MBT?
→ They have to pay with $MBT
Q7. How does a very complex idea such as MassBit come to reality? Do the devs ever sleep?
→ Turning the idea into a product/service is our embodiment, the dev team doesn’t sleep sometimes, which means we are trying our best to complete the product. One of our results recently is the grant from the Web3 Foundation, and we have many more partnerships and are networking with some of really great projects.
Q8. Can you tell more about the Angel Program?
→ Angel Program: MassBit Angels are special community members who go above and beyond to help moderate, build, and share the MassBit vision. These community members have added responsibility but earn extra rewards and form the foundations of the MassBit community.
